Candle Offering During Buddhist Lent

Thai Flour Industry Co., ltd. joined the candle offering activity to Wat Saphang Temple, Don Khoi Subdistrict, Nakhon Pathom Province. The temple is among the most respected temples in the Don Khoi District, near our Kamphaeng Saen branch. Offering candles during the Buddhist Lent is an important tradition for Thai Buddhists. During the Buddhist Lent in the rainy season, monks stay at the temple to study the Dharma and practice meditation for 3 months, without leaving the premise. Therefore, offering candles is an activity with a lot of merit as it supports the activities of the temple during the Buddhist Lent. Since the temple needs candles to perform various rituals, along with lighting up the temple at night. Hence, candle offering is an important donation to support the temple.
