Thai Flour Industry Co., ltd. realizes the importance of sharing and growing with the community. Additionally, in establishing the United Nation’s sustainable development goals. Therefore, we have initiated the “Food for the Community” project through signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (Thailand), a non-profit organization that focuses on solving the problems of food waste and food insecurity.
The “Food for the Community” project’s objectives are to help poor communities and schools to have access to clean, safe and delicious food; as well as to promote careers for people in society by donating our quality food products, such as “Mee Nom” brand milk tablets and “Golden Coins” brand flour products. Through the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (Thailand), the food gets distributed to areas in need quickly and safely.
Furthermore, in aligning with our policy of reducing “food loss and food waste”, we try our best to ensure that the surplus food from our production, which is still of good quality, safe and edible, does not get thrown away. But instead, is distributed promptly and efficiently to those in need to reduce the amount of food waste.
We’ve started the project since 13th December 2024 through signing a partnership agreement with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (Thailand). Additionally, we’ve set up a team to manage the warehouse and communicate with the foundation regularly, including sharing recipes and how to use different types of flour for the foundation to share with the community. Lastly, we would like to be a part of creating a better society through sharing good quality and delicious food.
